Terms of Use

Last updated: October 19, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Ontellis website and, where applicable, client access to the Ontellis workspace. Ontellis is a service of Explora Studios Ltd. ("Explora Studios", "we", "us"). By using this website, you agree to these terms.

Ontellis is delivered as a managed service under a separate written agreement with each client. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement prevails.

1. The website

This website describes Ontellis and lets organizations submit an inquiry. Submitting an inquiry does not create an account, a contract, or an obligation for either party. We decide at our discretion whether to propose an engagement.

2. Client access

Access to the Ontellis workspace is available only to authorized users designated by a client under an active agreement. Authorized users must:

  • Keep credentials confidential and not share accounts.
  • Use the workspace only for the client's internal purposes within the agreed scope.
  • Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.

We may suspend access to protect the security of the service, its users, or third parties.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the website or the service to:

  • Break the law, including privacy, election, consumer protection, and anti-discrimination laws.
  • Harass, intimidate, dox, or covertly surveil individuals, or target private persons for adverse action.
  • Plan or carry out disinformation, coordinated inauthentic behaviour, voter suppression, or impersonation.
  • Infringe intellectual property or breach the terms of the platforms and sources involved.
  • Probe, disrupt, scrape, reverse engineer, or circumvent the security of our systems.

We may decline or end any engagement that conflicts with these principles.

4. Nature of the analysis

Ontellis supports human judgment; it does not replace it. Analysis is based on available sources, which may be incomplete, delayed, biased, or inaccurate, and coverage depends on public availability, source permissions, technical access, geography, language, and platform terms. AI-assisted outputs can contain errors.

Analysis is not legal, financial, political-compliance, or other professional advice. Decisions and actions remain the responsibility of the client, and consequential actions require human approval.

5. Intellectual property

The website, the Ontellis name and logo, the platform, its methods, and related materials belong to Explora Studios or its licensors. You may view and print website content for personal or internal evaluation. Ownership of client deliverables and client-supplied material is set out in the client agreement.

6. Confidentiality

Please do not send confidential information through the inquiry form. Confidential material shared during an engagement is protected under the client agreement.

Form submissions pass through automated anti-abuse checks, including Cloudflare Turnstile and temporary submission limits. We may block or discard automated, repeated, or abusive submissions. A submission is delivered only when the form confirms it was sent; otherwise, write to us at support@explora.studio.

7. Third-party sources and links

The website and service may reference or link to third-party content. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites, content, or availability.

8. Disclaimers

The website is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Any service warranties are set out only in the client agreement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Explora Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or reputation, arising from use of the website. Our total liability relating to the website will not exceed CAD $100. Liability for the service is governed by the client agreement.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Explora Studios against claims arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the website or service.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. The courts of British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the client agreement provides otherwise.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised terms.
